Just finished a delightful-to-quilt Irish Chain baby quilt/wall hanging. It was not pieced by me. This was a quilt I purchased on eBay. Don’t you just love the muted gender neutral colors? This quilt does not scream baby, and could be used in the home for many, many years.
I opted to quilt the center area with a beautiful swirly pattern & continued that theme in the corners. Feathers on the diagonal help to set off the center area. I chose a definite baby theme for the borders, but it is very discreet.
I will post a picture when I finish binding it. The backing is a cute giraffe print same color as the sashing. I will bind the quilt in the same fabric.
